Abstract

Abstract: Objectives: 1. To assess the pre and post test level of knowledge on prevention and control of osteoporosis among elderly. 2. To determine the effectiveness of computer assisted teaching on prevention and control of osteoporosis among elderly. 3. To associate pre test level of knowledge on prevention and control of osteoporosis among Elderly with their selected socio demographic variables. Methodology: A quantitative study was done by using one group pre and post test design with sample size of 100 Elderly participants were selected by using simple random Sampling technique Semi structured questionnaire were
used to assess the pre test level of knowledge among elderly and Computer assisted teaching on prevention and control of osteoporosis was provided and post test level of knowledge was assessed. Results: Paired t test calculated value was 12.534 at P
