Abstract

The goal of this study was to determine the association between serum inflammatory parameters and diagnosed diabetes mellitus type 2. Patients and methods: The study included 100 patients of both genders from 49 to 83 years old. Based on ATP III criteria, patients were divided into two groups: A) DM2, MS - diabetic patients with metabolic syndrome and group B) DM2, NMS - diabetic patients without metabolic syndrome.
