Depression and quality of life in patients with Multiple Sclerosis

Abstract

The aim of the present study was to determine the relationship between the quality of life and depression by using SF-36 quality of life scale in MS patients. Forty-eight patients who were certainly diagnosed with MS according to McDonald diagnostic criteria in the Neurology Clinic and were admitted to the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Outpatient Clinic between the dates of 2013 and 2015, and a total of 43 age and gender matched healthy controls were included in the study.
