Effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge on prevention and management of health problems among elderly women

Abstract

Park(2014) expressed demographic ageing is a global phenomena. Laube.et.al (2010) reports that the number of elderly the world has increased three fold since 1950, from 130 million in 2000.
The study is conducted to evaluate the Effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge on prevention and management of health problems among elderly women.
Pre experimental design one group pretest and post test design was selected for the study on 120 elderly women, 60 yrs and above.
The study results shows that structure teaching programme is effective in enhanceing the knowledge regarding management of health problems among elderly.
