SPIRITUAL QUOTIENT

Abstract

Intelligence Quotient (IQ) primarily solves logical problems. Emotional Quotient (EQ) allows to judge the situation and behave appropriately. But they together are not able to explain the full complexity of human intelligence & imagination. There is a third kind of quotient which makes it possible for human beings to do creative, insightful, rule-making or breaking thinking. It is known as spiritual intelligence and can also be called asSpiritual Quotient.Many organizations emphasize on the importance of its employees and consider them as their most important asset. In order to gain the motivation and commitment of employees towards organization, the organization has to nurture the mind, body, and soul of its employees. People’s spiritual needs are often the element that is overlooked. But recently there appears to be a growing international trend that focus on this area at work.
