Anatomy is a foundational element of medical education, imparting important knowledge crucial for clinical practice. Nonetheless, constraints like ethical considerations, cadaver availability, and institutional limits require the use of creative pedagogical approaches. Virtual Dissection (VD) is an innovative tool that improves anatomy education via interactive, high-resolution simulations. In addition to traditional cadaveric dissection, this technology-driven method addresses issues like the scarcity of cadavers, ethical dilemmas, and the requirement for repeated learning opportunities. The prospective of VD as an educational instrument in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programs is underutilized. Integration of VD, a pedagogical approach will certainly enhance the learning experience for potential professionals.

Key words: Virtual dissection, Rachana Sharir, pedagogy, medical education
