Abstract

Diversity in phenotype based on morphometric and landmark based on morphometric character indices of wild and cultured population of European Sea bass were analyzed to study and compare the number of differences in phenotypes and genotypes. The results revealed that there were significant differences (P≤0.05) in some of morphometric and landmark based on morphometric character indices between wild and cultured population tested. Therefore, it was observed in this work that the phenotype analysis based on a large number of morphometric and Landmark based on morphometric character indices and genotype analysis can be used to discriminate the wild and cultured
fish population.

Key words: Phenotypic. Genetic diversity sea bass
