An Analytical Study of Gul-e-Rana edited by Malik Ram (1970)

Abstract

Malik Ram is a famous researcher, critic and editor of Ghalib's work. In research of Ghalib, Zikr-e-Ghalib, Talamza-e-Ghalib, Fasana-e-Ghalib and Tehqiqi Mazameen are included in his masterpieces. While Deewan-e-Ghalib, Gul-e-Rana, Sabad Cheen, Dastanbo, Khatoot-e-Ghalib, Ayar-e-Ghalib, Yadgar-e-Ghalib and Tehreer (Ghalib No) are his Significant ventures in his edited work. Malik Ram Compiled Gul-e-Rana in 1970 and then edited it. His Gul-e-Rana is based upon his personal Transcript, Nuskha-e-Lahore and derived different material from Deewan-e-Ghalib's editions and made it a research edition. Gul-e-Rana is a Detailed edition and other his scholary approach made it the best edition.
