Comparative taxonomical studies on the Egyptian Mediterranean Squids

Squids are known to be commercially important around the world. Worth mentioning it constitutes a major part of the Egyptian fishing industry. This study aims to differentiate between the teuthoid species dwelling in the Egyptian Mediterranean waters. Squid Specimens were obtained from the fishing trawlers. The specimens were photographed by a CanonG7X digital Camera and the different organs were illustrated using a zoom stereoscopic WildM8 microscope provided with its special Camera Lucida drawing tube.
