Abstract

This research is to discover the effects of Knowledge about the environment, Locus of control and Interpersonal communication through environmental awareness. The study used a survey method in which the data has been analyzed by path analysis after the variable data has been entered into the correlation matrix. In this study, respondents were students who had been selected as analysis units and 187 samples were randomly selected. The results found environmental awareness was directly influenced by interpersonal communication. In addition, it was found that environmental awareness is influenced indirectly by knowledge of the environment, Locus of control through interpersonal communication. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that variations that have occurred in environmental awareness may have been influenced by variations in Knowledge about the environment, Locus of control, and Interpersonal Communication .
