Bone development and its relation to fracture repair: a review

Abstract

The bony skeleton is essential for the body as it gives the body its integrity and helps the individuals to perform their functions. This bony skeleton can be fractured by physical trauma, which requires more time to heal and restore its function again. This study aimed to overview bone structure, function, and development as well as its relation to the repair of fractures. This review involved the online research process to search for scientific articles related to our subject using scientific websites and several keywords. The selection of articles was based on inclusion criteria. We included four articles to write this review; the review was written under specific
main titles. The study concludes that it is essential to understand bone structure to understand the processes of bone fracture repair.
