The owner of a sidewalk space is granted the privilege of exploiting, using and disposing of the part that is exclusively above the foot pavement without affecting the flow of pedestrians and public benefit. This right is confined to the owner of the property that is adjacent to the sidewalk for the purpose of building on its space according to specific terms and conditions. The utilization of sidewalk spaces shall add beauty and urban development to the city. Moreover, they shall provide more space for investment, bringing financial income and employing manpower in construction.
