One of the ways to optimize the quality-of-life performance in transfemoral amputees is by empowering them. In improving the patient's quality of life, there are several influencing factors, namely motivation, self-efficacy, religiosity, social support, optimism, and subjective wellbeing. Therefore, the researcher is interested to find the most prominent variable to do optimization of the quality-of-life performance in transfemoral amputees. This is a cross-sectional research design. The Population is transfemoral amputees in PT. Kuspito Ortotik Prostetik. 110 samples is used with a simple random sampling. Analysis of data is using Structural Equation Modeling. The study showed that motivation, optimism, religiosity, self-efficacy, social support, are the factors that affected to transfemoral amputee quality of life. It is mediated by subjective well-being. To optimize the quality of life in transfemoral amputee, optimism and religiosity need to be the main concern and need to be improved. One of the interventions that can be done is holding activities that aim to increase the level of optimism and religiosity in each individual so that the quality of life can increase and become a more empowered human being.
