Comparison of the scrotal cosmetic satisfaction related to the cosmetic results of two different hydrocelectomy incision scars

Background: To retrospectively evaluate the scrotal cosmetic satisfaction related to cosmetic results of two different hydrocelectomy incision scars.
Subjects and Methods: A total of 45 patients underwent the Winkelman hydrocelectomy procedure (WHP) with groups based on the use of two different incisions, the scrotal median raphe incision (SMRI) (n=24) and the transverse scrotal incision (STI) (n=21). At the sixth-month follow-up, the scrotal cosmetic satisfaction was evaluated with Numerical Ratio Score (NRS) and the Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale (POSAS) was applied.
