Knowledge Regarding Habits Causing Cancer Among Adults

Abstract

Abstract: Cancer is a group of disease in which the cell grows abnormally and spread throughout the body. Cancer occurs as a result of changes (mutations) in the genes inside our cells causes of cancer in adults. Aim: To assess the knowledge regarding habits causing cancer. Setting and Design: The study was conducted at Papireddypalem village, Nellore by using a descriptive research design. Materials and Methods: 50 adults were selected by Non probability convenience sampling technique. 25 structured questionnaires used to collect data, the collected data was organized, tabulated, analysed and interpreted by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics Results: The level of knowledge regarding habits causing cancer on adult 3(6%) had B+ grade, 8(16%) had B grade, 10(20%) had C grade, 29(58) had D grade knowledge.
