Prevalence of iliotibial band tightness in office workers

Abstract

Objective: To determine the prevalence of iliotibial band (ITB) tightness in office workers.
Methodology: In this cross-sectional study, 383 office workers aged between 20-60 years from district Gujranwala, Pakistan were included using non probability judgmental sampling technique. Validated performa was used for demographic information. Ober’s test was applied to check ITB tightness. Data were analyzed on SPSS 21.
Results: Out of 383 participants, 175 (45.69%) had tightness including 68 females and 107 males while 208 (54.31%) showed negative results constituting 78 females and 130 males. Study was significant with p
