The majority of students have found mathematics to be excessively challenging. However, mathematics is a required core and new subject in all engineering programmes around the world. There are many different engineering specialties, including computer science engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, communication engineering, and civil engineering. Each of these specialties has a unique study programme that emphasises the importance of mathematics.
