Horners syndrome is a relatively rare complication of infraclavicular brachial plexus block than supraclavicular and interscalene brachial plexus block. We performed ultrasound-guided infraclavicular brachial plexus block with a mixture containing 20 ml of 0.5% levobupivacaine HCl with 5 ㎍/ml of epinephrine. 30 minutes after brachial plexus block, Horners syndrome appeared. It leads to patients anxiety, dissatisfaction and diaphragmatic involvement. We report the occurrence of Horners syndrome following a US-guided infraclavicular brachial plexus block performed by physicians with technical experience.
