Background: Mixed serous neuroendocrine tumors are rare tumors, comprised of two unique pathologies, mixed serous cystic neoplasm and pancreatic near endocrine tumors. Studies of mixed serious neuroendocrine tumors are scarce.
Case Presentation: We report the case of a 58-year-old female, a known case of diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and hypothyroidism, with a history of trans-sphenoidal pituitary adenoma excision and with an incidental finding of a rare pancreatic mixed neuroendocrine tumor.
Conclusion: The tumor was successfully managed by laparoscopic resection of the distal pancreatic tumor and spleen. Laparoscopic procedures should be preferred to open surgeries as it benefits the patient in early return to physical activity, short duration of hospital stay, less pain, and complications.
