Approach to castleman‘s disease in parotid gland, a case report

Abstract

Castleman’s Disease (CD) is a rare, benign lymphoepithelial disease of unknown cause, most commonly in the mediastinum. In this article; we report a new case of CD arising from the parotid gland. A 45 year-old male patient with parotid CD’s treatment approach and treatment result are presented. Subtotal parotidectomy was performed. After operation; adjuvan radiotherapy was performed. Clinically and radiologically no recurrence was noted during a follow up period of twelve months.
