ABSTRACT: Oral submucous fibrosis is potentially malignant condition it was described in 1950s is commonly found in Indians and Asian population as the habit of betel chewing is common in this geographical area. It is a chronic progressive disorder with arecoline in areca nut as main etiological factor and the clinical features depends on the stage of disease. This case report presents a 32 years old male patient presented with burning sensation while eating and was diagnosed as group II Oral submucous fibrosis and treated with Irimedadi taila.
