Abstract | | | | This case report highlight an incidence where a 3 year old child presented with post extubation stridor due to a piece of fractured suction tube in tracheobronchial tree which was totally missed from chest x ray initially till bronscopy was performed. This incidence was likely related to high pressure tracheobronchial suction and poor suctioning technique. Proper training in suctioning technique among health care staffs could help prevent the disaster to occur. Meticulous study of chest x ray could help to come to diagnosis earlier.
Key words: Endobronchial sunctioning, post extubation stridor, suction tube
