COVID-19 related lockdown-Effects on urology patients, our experience at tertiary care centre

Objective: Country wide Lockdown in India was imposed to break the cycle of transmission and control the spread of corona virus disease. During lockdown health care facilities were modified to cope up with the ongoing pandemic. We are presenting here the altered pattern of disease spectrum experienced during the period of lockdown.
Methods and materials: This retrospective comparative study was conducted at our tertiary care institute during and pre Lockdown period from 15 January 2020 to 31 May 2020.All urological patients who presented to us with fracture penis, penile strangulation, emergency PCN, purple bag syndrome, retained Foleys catheter and foreign bodies in lower urinary tract during this period were included in this study and were compared.
