SORET EFFECTS ON MAGNETO HYDRODYNAMICS RADIATION FLUID FLOW WITH HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER

Yale, I. D. and Uwanta, I. J..

Abstract

The study of Soret effect on magneto hydrodynamics flow of a viscous, incompressible, electrically conducting fluid past an infinite vertical plate with heat and mass transfer has been studied. The governing equations are solved analytically using perturbation technique. The result are obtained for velocity, temperature and concentration for flow parameters such as Grash of number, Gc, Hartmann 's number, M, thermal conductivity, k, radiation thermal conducting, Kl, Prandtl number, Pr, frequency oscillation, The effect of these parameters on the flow of velocity, concentration, and temperature are studied, analysed and presented graphically. It is then observed that the velocity profile of the distribution increases with increasing KP Gc, Pr, and

Key words: Soret, mass transfer, radiation, magneto hydrodynamics.
