The neurological examination is an important in the evaluation of fetal abnormalities and helping to diagnose and
provide the prognostic information regarding neonates. Neurological disorders like Spina bifida and Intra ventricular
hemorrhage are may be apparent before birth or appear during course of gestational period or after birth. Most of
the neurological disorders are due to the preterm birth (before 37 weeks of pregnancy). This article reviews about
epidemiology, pathophysiology , diagnosis, treatment, management and prevention of neurological disorders like
Spina bifida and Intra ventricular hemorrhage.
