Postural and mechanical challenges among children with Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy: A mini review and experts’ clinical perspectives

Abstract

The main objective of this report was to review and evaluate the effect of balance training using Biodex balance system on postural alignments. The chosen design was a mini literature review with experts’ perspectives. Patients were extracted from several research studies which included spastic diplegic cerebral palsy (SDCP) children within the criteria most likely to be encountered in everyday life at outpatient rehab clinics. The researchers surveyed the published research papers that had satisfied the inclusion- exclusion criteria predetermined by the researchers.
