VIRTUAL BIOMEDICAL INTELLIGENCE AND CARCINOMA OF BREAST

Skandha Deepsita.

Abstract

Virtual Biomedical Intelligence is popularly known as Artificial intelligence (AI). This term is applied when a machine mimics ‘cognitive functions ‘such as ‘learning’ and ‘problem solving’ similar to that of a human being (1). In the medical field, AI helps in identifying high risk patients for carcinoma of breast, one of the commonest malignancies by computing and analysing the data available. Thus the disease can be detected early and treated with a curative intent at the earliest. In this article, I would like to elaborate the virtues of “Virtual Bio-medical Intelligence” in diagnosing and treating carcinoma of breast patients

Key words: Carcinoma; Breast; Artificial Intelligence; Diagnosis; Treatment.
