Abstract | | | | Objective: To compare students scores of practical anatomy exam with the results of OSPE to measure their learning and to explore their perception of learning through dissection and plastic model.
Methodology: This concurrent mixed method study was conducted at Anatomy department, Army Medical College, National University of Medical Sciences, Rawalpindi, Pakistan from January 2017 to September 2017 and second year MBBS students were selected through convenience sampling technique. It was conducted in two phases. The first phase of study was to measure student scores in the spotting component of the gross anatomy examinations and the total scores obtained in their practical exam. The second phase was to measure students perceptions using a valid questionnaire on learning preferences. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 22.
