Objective: To evaluate the association between the Albumin–Bilirubin (ALBI) score and mortality risk in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
Methodology: This retrospective cohort study was conducted at Haji Adam Malik General Hospital, Medan, Indonesia, from September 2024 to April 2025. Medical records of adult patients with HCC and complete clinical and laboratory data were analysed. ALBI scores were categorized into three grades.
