Acute coronary syndrome in a Nonagenarian

Abstract

Incidence of cardio vascular diseases and cardiac deaths show an increasing tendency
now. At present, people are living longer and their changed life style pattern is also an important
factor in causing an increased incidence of cardiac diseases amongst the present
population..Now, there are various modalities of treatment available for treating cardiac
diseases especially in elderly people (1). The present case is a typical example of an acute
coronary syndrome in a nonagenarian and the dilemma faced by the treating cardiologist
