The heart is the simple machine with scared mission. William Harvey deemed the heart as the sovereign of the body. Cardiovascular disease is the leading diseases now a days, which causes death among men and women in the developed and developing countries. Aim: To assess the prevalence of risk factors for cardiovascular disease among the house wives. Methods: A qualitative research approach and descriptive design were selected 30 housewives by using non- probability convenience sampling technique. Result: The result shows that 5 (17%) have excellent, 18 (60%) have good and 7 (23%) have poor knowledge regarding risk factors of cardio vascular diseases among house wives.
