Abstract
Present investigation was carried out on 113 Haringhata Black chickenswith a view to identify the best components for adaptability of his bird using principal component analysis. The recordedparameters were wing length, wing span, tail length, central toe length, shank length, shank diameter and thigh length.The descriptive statistics showed that the mean body measurements were 20.15 cm, 69.14 cm, 17.32 cm, 5.25 cm, 8.77 cm, 3.64 cm and 13.11 cm for wing length, wing span, tail length, central toe length, shank length, shank diameter and thigh lengthat 18th week of age, respectively.
