Objective: To compare the association between thromboembolic events and cardiovascular risk with ABO Blood Groups.
Methodology: This cross-sectional study included a total of 349 participants. All were aged 35-55 years were selected for the cardio risk program that generated a score, known as the cardiac risk score, calculated as Total cholesterol/HDL. The ratio greater than 4.5 was considered a high risk for CHD. Non-O Blood group (A and B) was collected to determine the variables like serum cholesterol, LDL, triglyceride, and HDL levels, which are the prognostic tools for the risk of cardiovascular disease.
