Objective: To compare post-ureteroscopic (URS) outcomes, including pain, hematuria, fever, acute urinary retention, and the need for re-intervention, in patients undergoing URS lithotripsy with and without the use of double J (DJ) stents.
Methodology: This prospective, comparative observational study was conducted at the Urology Department of PAF Hospital, Islamabad, from September 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025. Patients undergoing URS for ureteric stones were divided into two groups: group A, receiving DJ stents post-URS, and group B underwent URS without stenting.
