Abstract

Background: Health is one of the fundamental rights of every human being, a precondition for prosperity and quality of life indicator for measuring progress and the basis of steady economic growth. In the field of public health, there have been significant positive changes in the last century compared to almost a thousand years before this. Scientists in their fields of medicine have contributed to this, especially the intensive development of information and communication technologies and medical technologies. A large number of different agencies, organizations, political levels involved in the mission of implementing public health, became visible over the years, when there was a need for planning and coordination. Today, public health plans are mainly reduced to health promotion and prevention, two variables that are a key factor in preventing mortality, disease, and disability. Objective: This article discuss about one of most influential health problem in the population caused by COVID-19 pndemic. It is the stress, as a condition in which the body responds to external or internal stimuli (stressors) while directing energy to cope with dangerous or extreme situations. Methods: The study is descriptive and analytical, based on facts which are retreived from published scientific literature stored in indexed databases and, also, at the database about ststistical facts deposited in the base of Public Health Institute of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the year 2020. Results and Discussion: Stress is a normal reaction of an organism whose purpose is self-preservation. However, if the organism is exposed to stress for too long or too often, we can define it as a set of physical, chemical or emotional stimuli from the environment that cause insufficient adaptation in an individual, or cause physiological tension that can contribute to disease. In this disease, in COVID-19, intimacy is literally forbidden. This disease, this pandemic requires us to say publicly that we are sick. We have to say we are sick, we have to inform others about it and at the same time protect them from us. When we are infected with SARS-CoV-2 we are not just victims, we become a danger at the same time. We can no longer count on the physical and mental support of our loved ones, our family, which we always have when we are sick. Now it is completely different. The closest and dearest can no longer be with us, which has a frustrating and discouraging effect on us. Both personal experience and medical science confirm that reduced and infrequent movement of water leads to disease. Being aware of this fact, move on, necessarily long enough and often enough, because that is the only way you can preserve your health. In addition to physical techniques to combat stress, there are psychological methods to combat stress. They are characterized by techniques of acting on the mind, which is the main and initial cause of stress. All these actions are aimed at calming the mind, which with its accelerated activity creates tension in the body, while tension in turn blocks the natural circulation of energy. However, there are simple, everyday ways to get rid of stress that we must not forget, because they are successful in repairing the devastating effects of stress. So, we can release our tension by shouting and screaming. If you go to nature and for a walk, you can help yourself by giving yourself a breather by shouting out loud or screaming the way small children do. Conclusion: The original goal of any health policy is to improve the health of the population. it is necessary to understand the main determinants of population health, but also the social and economic environment in which such policy is developed and implemented. An important element of the health policy context is the prevailing concept of how health is developed and destroyed. In our century, the main public health challenge is how to respond effectively to new health challenges (climate cha
