Aim/background: In this paper, we propose a solution to mitigate parking lot accidents by developing a garage parking sensor system.

Methods: The system comprises three sensors strategically positioned to detect car hoods and front bumpers, along with an LED light strip indicator. This setup provides drivers with real-time feedback, enhancing their parking accuracy and awareness.

Results: The proposed solution is versatile and suitable for installation in various environments, such as home garages, parking structures, and vehicles.

Conclusion: By addressing the critical gap in front-end visibility and parking assistance, this innovative solution significantly reduces the occurrence of vehicle-related accidents in parking lots, thereby enhancing the safety of both drivers and pedestrians.

Key words: Parking Sensor, Cars, Sensors, Software Engineering, Embedded System, Raspberry Pi, Python, Ultrasonic Sensors.
