The presentstudy trend shows 5-10 μg/L among 33% of males and 50% of females and 10-15μg levelsamong 66.7% Males and 33.3 % females among young medical students of 19-21years agegroup. In our study levels > 10 μg/L are more than in the U.S and Australia studies. Chinesestudy showed that the median BLL(Blood lead levels) in Chinese subjects were about twotimes higher than the AmericanNHANES(National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey)survey. The levels above 10 μg/L need monitoring and also education and awareness amongsubjects.
