This is a short review on the book " The theoretical foundations of Ayurveda" written by Sri K.S.Kannan, published by Institute of Ayurveda and Integrative medicine. In this book the theoretical principles of Ayurveda are discussed with reference to the ancient scriptures like Vaiseshika Darshana and Ayurvedic texts. This book is written for students of BAMS.
