Lymphangiomas are benign vascular tumors arising from the lymphatic system, which can lead to complications such as infection and bleeding. Magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasonography are essential for diagnosis and monitoring of complications. Here, we report a case of a 2-year-old girl with lymphangioma complicated by Escherichia coli abscess. Early diagnosis and awareness of potential complications are essential for optimal treatment selection and patient outcomes.

Key words: lymphangiomas, abscess, child
