Objective: To identify Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Diseases (NAFLD) as the emerging component in Metabolic Syndrome (MS) due to its implications on morbidity and mortality.
Methodology: This observational cross-sectional study with convenient sampling was conducted from June 2023 to May 2024 at Rai Medical College and private consultancies of the contributing authors. Curved Array transducer was used for comparison of hepatic echogenicity with hepatic vessel walls, diaphragm, gall bladder walls, and renal parenchymal echogenicity to decide about the presence of NAFLD and its grading.
