This research project aimed to design and fabricate a dual-purpose furnace capable of performing both casting and forging operations simultaneously. The furnace design integrated a casting chamber and a forging chamber, allowing for efficient heat transfer and temperature control. The fabricated furnace was tested for its performance, and the results showed that it achieved a temperature of 790°Celsius, suitable for casting aluminum metal. The heated steel in the forging chamber also reached a red-hot state, indicating effective heat transfer. The dual-purpose furnace demonstrated its versatility and efficiency, making it a valuable asset for industries that require both casting and forging operations. The successful design and fabrication of this furnace provide a promising solution for industries seeking to improve their productivity and efficiency.

Key words: Forging, casting, furnace, fabrication, dual purpose, industrial application
