The Cover of the current issue of the Sudanese Journal of Paediatrics (SJP) highlights another grave loss for child health in Sudan, regionally and internationally and pays tribute to Dr. Eltahir Medani ELshibly, an outstanding paediatrician and Ex-Member of SJP Editorial Board whom we lost recently (see Editorial). His photo overlays the pyramids of the Napta/Meroitic Kingdom (800BC-350AD), depicting the heritage of Sudan and its civilization.
