KNOWLEDGE REGARDING COMPLEMENTARY AND ALTERNATIVE THERAPY AMONG STAFF NURSES

Complementary therapies are those therapies used in addition to conventional treatment recommended by the health care providers. This study to assess the knowledge regarding complementary and alternative therapy among staff nurses. Quantitative approach and descriptive design. The present study was conducted on 60 staff nurses working in NMCH, Nellore selected by non-probability convenience sampling technique. Structured Questionnaire was used to collect the data. The present study shown 17(28.3%) staff nurses had inadequate knowledge, 31(51.6%) staff nurses had moderate knowledge and 12(20%) staff nurses had adequate knowledge regarding complementary and alternative therapies.
