Logical memory, speed of processing and social-emotional development during middle childhood: The "Unknown Known"

Objective: To explore the relationship among logical memory, processing speed and social-emotional development of children during middle childhood.
Methodology: This cross-sectional correlational study included 250 school students (125 boys & 125 girls) of age range 6-8 years selected from different government schools of Lahore through purposive sampling technique from December 2022 to May 2023. Logical memory test, coding test and socialization scale were used in the identification of culturally based results of cognitive skills of children. Pearson Product Moment Correlation and Hierarchical Regression were used to analyze the data.
