We report a case of a 21-year-old female presenting with colicky abdominal pain, vomiting, weight loss, and constipation, without prior illness or fever. Comprehensive evaluation led to the diagnosis of Idiopathic Sclerosing Encapsulating Peritonitis (SEPM), a rare condition characterized by a fibrous membrane encapsulating the intestines. The patient underwent successful surgical management involving adhesiolysis and resection of the affected bowel segment. This case highlights the importance of considering rare disorders like SEPM in patients with unexplained abdominal symptoms, as early diagnosis and timely surgical intervention are crucial for preventing serious complications and ensuring favorable outcomes.
