In recent times, healthcare has witnessed a transformative integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technology with the ancient Ayurvedic system of medicine. This fusion holds the promise of reshaping both research and healthcare practice and delves into the harmonious collaboration between AI and Ayurveda, shedding light on its potential benefits and drawbacks. AI's impact is profound. It improves diagnostics by meticulously analyzing extensive patient data, facilitating precise and efficient diagnoses. Furthermore, AI customizes treatment plans based on individual factors, thus enhancing treatment outcomes and overall well-being. AI also mines Ayurvedic texts and research papers, ushering in evidence-based insights that refine clinical trials. Additionally, AI ensures the quality of herbal products, guiding their selection and minimizing risks. AI-powered devices play a pivotal role in promoting preventive healthcare and empowering holistic well-being. Despite its merits, overreliance on AI may risk sidelining Ayurveda's holistic approach, potentially diminishing its effectiveness. In resource-constrained settings, the high cost and infrastructure demands of AI may limit its widespread adoption, thus hampering its potential benefits for Ayurveda research and healthcare. Furthermore, ethical concerns, including data privacy, consent, and algorithmic biases, necessitate careful management. While challenges are evident, the advantages of this collaboration significantly outweigh the drawbacks. A balanced approach empowers both practitioners and patients with evidence-based research, personalized treatment strategies, and a holistic healthcare paradigm. This integration not only preserves the essence of Ayurveda but also maximizes AI's potential to elevate the realms of research and healthcare.

Key words: Ayurveda, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Diagnostics, Holistic, Personalization.
