SURGICAL MANAGEMENT OF TRAUMATIC VENTROLATERAL HERNIA IN A PONY- A CASE REPORT

Abstract
Seven years old, local, male, pony with traumatic, ventral, irreducible, enterocele was successfully managed (without recurrence) by standard herniorrhaphy under diazepam-xylazine-ketamine induction followed by maintenance with thiopentone.

Key words: Enterocele, Herniorrhaphy, Hernial ring, Pony, Ventrolateral Hernia, Wooden peg injury.
