Abstract

Triage system is the process by which the physician and nurse assesses a patientÂ’s clinical urgency. Triage is the first instance of clinical contact for all people presenting to the Emergency Department. Triage is a brief clinical assessment that determines the urgency of treatment and the time and sequence in which patients should be seen in the Emergency Department.
