Role of resistance exercise on pain, fatigue, and mobility in breast cancer survivors: A systematic review

Objective: To investigate the role of resistance exercise on pain, fatigue, and mobility in breast cancer survivors.
Methodology: In this systematic review articles were searched using PubMed, MEDLINE, Cochrane Library and Google Scholar. It includes studies regarding breast cancer survivors and resistance exercises conducted before April 2024, and written in English language. Outcome measures were pain, fatigue, and mobility. Quality assessment was done using the PEDro scale.
Results: The quality of all seven studies was assessed through the Pedro scale and the score varied from 6 to 8 indicating fair to good studies.
Conclusion: Resistance exercise helps to reduce pain, and fatigue and enhances mobility in breast cancer survivors.
