Motivational aspects of multi-dimensional perfectionism: relationship with goal striving

Abstract

Objective: There have been many personality traits, which are related with physical and mental health of individuals. One of these traits is perfectionism. The aim of this study is to investigate relationships between goal striving and multi-dimensional perfectionism.
Method: This study has been carried out as a cross-sectional and quantitative method. In this study, 116 female and 110 male university students were included. The data were collected with Multi-dimensional Perfectionism Scale and Goal Striving Scale. Multiple regression analysis method was used to analysis of data.
